     I'm sensing a pattern of bad books here. I sincerely hope this doesn't continue, but Amber House, just like The Body Finder, just didn't cut it for me. This book also had an interesting beginning and then just...fizzled out. I read a mix of reviews for this book, from being an absolute favorite to an absolute worst, so I guess this is an iffy kind of book that really depends on the person.

     The blurb for this book was so promising! I was so looking forward to reading it, so much that I moved it up the list! The beginning was good enough. Good enough that I stayed interested for a few chapters. And then around chapter 5, I just started feeling really bored. I thought maybe it was just a slow chapter, so I stayed with it a little longer, but after a few chapters I just couldn't get into again and it became kind of a chore to make myself keep reading.
